Refund Policy

How refunds work on Hylo

  • Credits never expire. Whatever credits you buy stay in your balance until you use them.
  • Failed generations are auto-refunded. If a generation fails on our side, the credits used for it return to your balance automatically — usually within seconds, no email needed.
  • Other refund requests are reviewed case-by-case. We don't offer an automatic money-back guarantee, but we do read every email and try to make things right when something has clearly gone wrong.

How credits work

  • Credits never expire. Once they're in your balance, they stay there until you use them. No monthly resets, no “use it or lose it.”
  • No recurring charges. Each plan is a one-time purchase. We never auto-renew or charge you a second time without your explicit action.
  • Buying again adds. Buy a second plan any time — the credits stack on top of whatever balance you already have.

Failed generations

If a generation fails for any reason on our end (timeouts, model errors, infra issues), the credits used for that generation are automatically refunded back to your balance — usually within seconds. You don't need to email us. If a refund doesn't land within a few minutes, that's a bug worth flagging at hello@tryhylo.com.

Other refund requests

For situations outside the automatic refund flow — for example, an accidental purchase or a genuine misunderstanding about what Hylo does — please email hello@tryhylo.com from the address on your Hylo account, with your order ID from the purchase receipt and a sentence or two about the situation. We read every request and respond within one business day.

We can't commit to refunding in every case, but where the request is reasonable and made shortly after purchase we will work with you in good faith.

Free trial credits

The 15 free credits you receive on signup are a no-charge sample and aren't refundable in cash. They never expire and remain available for use even after you buy a paid plan.

India & tax

Prices in INR (₹) are inclusive — the amount you see on /pricing is the amount we charge. We're not currently registered to collect GST, so no separate tax line is added. If you need a GST-eligible invoice for B2B accounting, please reach out before purchase — we'll let you know if we can accommodate.

Refunds for INR purchases are issued in INR through the original payment method. Refund timing follows the bank / UPI provider standard windows.
