Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated May 12, 2026.

Hylo is designed for jewelry brands, sellers, agencies, and creators making honest product imagery. To keep the platform useful and safe for everyone, you agree to these rules when you use it. Violating this policy may result in suspension or termination of your account under our Terms of Service.

You may not use Hylo to:

  • Infringe intellectual property. Don't upload, recreate, or pass off as your own any design, photograph, logo, or trademark you don't have rights to. This includes recreating a designer's copyrighted jewelry piece for your own listings.
  • Impersonate brands or people. Don't generate imagery that claims, suggests, or implies endorsement by a brand or public figure who hasn't authorized it. Don't use real models' likeness without consent.
  • Deceive buyers. Don't use AI outputs to misrepresent the actual product the buyer will receive (e.g., showing diamonds for a cubic-zirconia piece, exaggerating size or finish in a way that would mislead a reasonable buyer).
  • Generate sexual, violent, hateful, or illegal content. Hylo's content-safety filters block obvious cases; you must not attempt to bypass them or generate content that would be illegal where you live.
  • Create deepfakes or misleading media. Don't use Hylo to alter the appearance of a real person without their consent, fabricate events that didn't happen, or create misleading visual claims.
  • Resell or wrap the API. Don't build a competing “AI jewelry generator” product on top of Hylo, scrape generations programmatically, or share credentials across an organization to avoid buying multiple accounts.
  • Defraud the platform. Don't use stolen payment methods, charge back legitimate purchases, exploit free-trial credits via multiple accounts, or otherwise attempt to extract value without paying for it.
  • Attack the service. No DDoS, no bypassing rate limits, no scraping, no probing for vulnerabilities outside a responsible-disclosure context. If you find a real security issue, please email us at hello@tryhylo.com.

Enforcement

If we believe in good faith that an account has violated this policy, we may: warn you, restrict specific features, hold the account for review, or terminate the account. For clear or repeated violations we will not refund unused credits. Where the underlying activity is illegal, we may also report it to the relevant authorities.

Reporting

If you spot a violation of this policy — an account recreating your jewelry designs, an image of you being misused, a brand being impersonated — please tell us. Email hello@tryhylo.com with the specifics. For copyright issues specifically, see our Copyright / DMCA Policy.

Questions?

Edge cases happen. If you're unsure whether something is allowed, write to hello@tryhylo.com before generating — we'd rather answer a question than enforce a policy.
